Altruistic

Al-Waqidy recalled:
"One time, I was in such a harsh economic crush. Until the arrival of Ramadan, I do not have any money. I was confused, then I wrote a letter to my friend who is a alawy (descendant of Ali ibn Abi Talib). I asked him to lend me money for a thousand dirhams. He even sent me money for it in a sealed bag. I put the bag at home ... In the evening I received a letter from my other friends. He asked me to lend her money for a thousand dirhams to the needs of the fasting month. Without thinking, I sent him a bag of money that the lid is still intact.

Tomorrow morning, I was the arrival of a friend who lent me money, and friends alawy that I owe to him. That this alawy asked me about money was a thousand dirhams. I replied that I had it out for an interest. Suddenly he pulled out the bag as he laughed and said, 'By Allah, the month of Ramadan was approaching, I do not have anything else except this dirhams in 1000. After you write a letter to me, I send this money to you. While I also write letters to our friends on this one thousand dirhams to borrow money. Then he sent me this bag. So I ask, how can this story up? He even told me. And now we come to divide this money, make the three of us. May Allah give us all the spaciousness. '"

Al-Waqidy said:
"I told two friends, 'I do not know who among us is more generous.' Then the three of us split the money. Ramadan came and I've spent most of the division's results. Finally feeling depressed again, I think, how sad how this?

Suddenly there came messengers Yahya bin Khalid Al-Barma-ky in the morning, asking me to meet him. When I was facing at Yahya al-Barmaki, he said, 'Yes Waqidy! Last night I dreamed I saw you. Condition was very poor. Tell me what's wrong with you? "

So I explain to the story about my friend who alawy, my friend the other and money in 1000 dirhams. Then he commented, 'I do not know who among you is more generous. "Furthermore, he ordered that the money I was given thirty thousand dirhams and twenty thousand dirhams for two of my friends. And he asked me to become a Qadi.

Hikmahnya :
Moral of the story above is, we must prioritize the interests of others before our own interests, although at that time we also need things that are in need of others, for example money. With our altruistic, Allah will also ease the difficulties we face.
The core of the story above, we as humans should be helping each other, should not be selfish and altruistic than our own interests.
